Long overdue Art trade with the extremely talented =Ann-Jey . Admittedly this was one of the most intimidating projects for me because of who it was for. I had a lot to live up to here. Anyway, still polishing my anthro abilities, I decided to give her character , Gitz, the proper rockstar treatment. I actually made two separate BG's for this because the first didn't work initially but I found a way to incorporate both. This took a while as a result (7 days? lol I dunno). Scary AT to say the least, but I'm very VERY satisfied with the end result.

Enjoy, Anya. I really admire your stuff every single day, and getting the honor to do an AT with you is beyond anything I could ask for. I hope it holds up to your standards, because I know they are extremely high.

Also thanks to =Togekisser for some help with hand placement. She's really an awesome friend for helping me.

Lol how could you of all people be intimidated by my work? Youre lightyears ahead of me xD. But yeah, making this was nervewracking as you have one insane reputation (16k watchers man). I felt outgunned here so i pulled off everything i knew. Im glad you liked it xD.

And yet again you outdo yourself... Sweet pose to suit Gitz's rockstar persona, the most impressive things I find about this though are the details in the shading on her clothing, as I don't think you've worked with such before, either way you got the creases very nicely/realistically. Then that background, I remember how it was originally and the tweaks you've made to incorporate it with the character, very subtly done to set up the stage setting behind her! (and are those custom logos I spot on the amplifiers/speakers? Nice touch)
I point to work on though would be the hair some more, I remember saying that I bought your style was a bit 'sharp' for anthro (though I am most used to soft shading), when in all honesty I think that's most prominent on the hair. I think if you including more depth or layers to it, to give it more of the flowing feel of hair, it might work better. But hey, you're more expert than me, I'm sure you'll find away! Especially for a second piece I'm so jelly of how well you've adapted to the style... You learn quick! Keep it up!

Sooo... The anatomy looks perfectly fine to me lol course drawing hedgehogs DOES kinda mess with you cause they don't really have set guidelines for their proportions to begin with XD Their arms bend like noodles and their eyes aren't connected in the middle! I wonder what would happen if you poked them there? Is it just like dead eye space? lol

But ANYWAY. This. Is. EPIC. I wish I could do highly detailed pictures like this!! I can draw a character, but beyond that I have no skill. I try to mimic the Sonic X coloring style. That's all I can pretty much do lol anything beyond that is blur and crap central.

I'm also sensing... star brush... and sparkles... maybe... and TONS OF AWESOME SHIZ. Must go watch so I can see more of these awesome pictures!!
