Got bored and after a ton of speed paint and concept art tutorials, I decided to finally design the legendary gun of the High Roller Series, Trump Card. It's wielded by Adam Vegas (who still needs a design) and he finds it by mistake, using it to gain access to the High Roller circuit, slowly winning his way up the districts to the City's #1 District to take on Fargus Poker.
All the guns in the series are designed after casino games and are all luck influenced. Also, the guns are used in a martial art style rather than cover-based shooting (think Grenadier anime stuff). The more luck influenced a gun is, the more desirable it is in the eyes of society and the competition. All guns also have a different latin inscription. Trump card's is "Felicionem Fortis. Fortuna Aeternam. Translating to 'Luck strong. Fortune Eternal.'
Trump card uses the play on worlds of 'Slot machine' and 'Machine gun' and depending on the reels and what matching symbols you get, you can get one of 10 different weapons, including a dud if you get a triple skull, which results in the gun jamming for a set amount of time. However, the good weapons range anywhere from a standard gunshot to a railgun and a gigantic gamewinning energy cannon (for the 777 jackpot win).
Aww, I was thinking of exactly this idea (3-slot revolver) for a character when I came across this. T_T You don't mind if I use the concept do you? I would try to make the gun look different.
have you considered submitting this to team fortress 2 workshop? A simplified version would probably get a lot of views and I could definitely see it in the game for spy.
Other than that, well done!
