This image originally gave me mixed feelings but it shaped up to be immensely fun, especially if you showed up for the livestream.

I decided to color a sketch provided by =R-no71 of his character Neige. I also decided to try a bit of color theory using a Triad Palette of purple, gold, and that greenish color. I think its pretty good. Honestly I had no idea how this was going to work as R and I have such different styles and I was worried that it would look lousy in comparison to his standard work (he's pretty damn good). Either way, It did work. Also the space scape was done by me and I have a tutorial posted on my LS channel of me stepping through it so you can do it to (maybe takes 15 minutes if you're confident in the process, which is pretty easy).

Thanks for the opportunity dude. I hope you like this as I know you bring alot of quality (and expectations) to the table.

But next time we draw sy, mmk? :D

The placement of the purple lighting is what really makes this picture stand out so much. Unfortunately that's all I have to say. I really want to say more but don't know what to talk about ^^; It's that good lol.

Awesome collaboration with two of my favourite artists!~

It's funny, I didn't imagine it with these colors in my mind while I was sketching this but those ones you picked fit a lot as well actually. That's pretty neat of you to use a triad palette too, brings more interest to the picture. This is also interesting to see that you chose to make a "Space" background since I'm currently working on a picture of Neige in that outfit with that same kind of background as well. I know that this design of her above inspires the futurist feeling of course but still, I find the coincidence pretty cool.

I don't think I woulda done better :aww: You payed a lot of attention to details here, which is something that everybody is used to see in your works. The tones of shades are well distributed, I also quite like how you play with the light on some parts (especially the hand on the foreground, and the face too) as well as the details on the glasses, and the pinkish highlights. This was also nice to see a bit of the process! >:3 Even though you didn't have a proper color ref for that outfit, you did a really good job.

I saw this earlier actually, but I wanted to find a moment to leave a proper comment. Sorry if this delay sounded rude, in any cases I want to thank you for picking my sketch and taking the time to color it, plus with a really nice background.

As I said I was really curious to see the result of this and I'm not disappointed, quite the contrary. Thanks a lot again and keep up the good work, man!

glad you liked it man. I thought that the original sketch was very close to FP's stuff (knowing you did much of the art for it) so I tried to keep it in line with a theme and colorbuild similar to it. The eyes admittedly threw me off a little but that's simply due to me not used to them being that shape (I'm more used to anthro/anime stylized eyes). I'm glad it worked out well.

Also I know you wanted the trick to the space shenanigans. There should be a 10 min or something video on my LS channel that I specifically recorded for this situation. If not, I'll look into posting a tutorial online in image format.

Thanks for the opportunity to do this again.

Oh lol!
I never thought about FP in any ways by making this xD But if you say so! That's interesting as well.
I've already done the space of that picture I'm talking about. However I'm willing to try your technic later for another one, and I'll give you credit for this.
Thanks again to you!
