Recently I've been putting a decent amount of work into creating a rockin' work station where I can optimize my workflow.  Honestly different desk set-ups fascinate me, so let's have some fun:

Here's my desk, where all the magic happens

Took a while to get up to this point, and while my laptop isnt the most powerful, its still a great environment for me to work.

Show me yours!  Let's see them awesome desks and workspaces.  I've seen a few of yours, and some just blow me away!.  But go nuts, show off.  Maybe I'll get some cool desk ideas and others might too.

(also not much arting was able to be done this week.  loooots of job interviews, but its going very very well)

At home i have a desk, with figurines of tails and knuckles on it, (Sonic is here at Uni) and one of my tiny wailords I make ^^

I use my laptop touch pad for digital art hurr.

Uhhh....

I...actually do not have a work station. I'm "poor." No, seriously. I live in a tiny apartment located in a condensed neighborhood full of dead rats, alive rats, troublemakers and broken bottles of booze. I sometimes have to call the police whenever there is trouble near my house. I would love to put that aside for a fancy work station but alas I cannot. D:

That might become a reality when I manage to move to a nicer apartment or small house, though! I have so much art crap that needs its own space, sure, but it isn't my priority yet since money is so tight. But it would be awesome to have my own bedroom where I can have the digital art workstation to the right and the traditional art workstation to the left.

I've currently moved my workstation to my parent's house. Currently, my air conditioning is busted! It's horrendous! Can't be fixed until the part comes in through the mail. >__<

Just a desk with my laptop on it as well as my wireless mouse and wacom tablet. And next to me is my wireless printer. Because why not.

Three monitors for photography work is always nice... leaving the laptop to have music and Skype open on it.

I've been asked "Why do you need three monitors?"

"Why DON'T I need three monitors?!"

I've never used all three for gaming though. It looks weird.

seems theres actually quite alot of people with a 2 laptop setup.  Is there a specific advantage to working like that?

:iconomiza:
Omiza Featured By Owner May 1, 2014   Artist
Yes,There's networking to other laptop. It must have wireless cards to enable wireless connection.
And then the control panel; then network sharing, had to be set up a connection or network.Choose set up as a Ad Hoc wireless network.
then just turn on the internet connection sharing ( closer to other laptop)
Again,There's same process with the other laptop. It can work now, access either laptop from another or more. ( More laptops. Can connnet each ones )

I hope if you understand.

I've got two workstations. The one is at home in my comfy room and then my student room.
I still have this photo here of my work station.

It looked so narrow because I wanted to hide my chaotic side of my desk lol
Maybe I should update it.

:iconellythegee:

Well I cannot say a concrete answer.
I have two because the one is my working laptop while the 2nd is my private laptop. I have different programs installed so it can be that I need these two when I was doing something.

My work station consists of a bag, containing all that I need to draw with. I even have a novel or two in it, just so that if I were to require motivation at a certain area around my house (no fixed workplace ), I can take some time off from sketching to read a story or two.

nah actually i know alot of people who need to do that, and that's not bad at all.  If you can find anywhere to draw or create, that's fantastic, and that's really what matters.

That is very true, though I would like a desk to work on would make it easier but being as I share a room with my younger sister there would be disagreements, so would look like I'd have to wait til I get my own place. Your desk looks pretty neat & tidy btw ~
